Sanders & Associates, Inc., more commonly known as Pageant Associates, announced today that they have added the 2011 Miss Vermont USA and Miss Vermont Teen USA pageants to their production schedule. These pageants will be conducted and produced independently by Sanders & Associates, Inc., under license with Miss Universe L.P., LLLP.
The pageants have most recently been produced by Clemente Productions, LLC with Laurie Clemente serving as the State Director and Anthony Clemente as the Director of Operations. The Clementes will continue producing the Miss Massachusetts USA and Miss Massachusetts Teen USA pageants. As well, Laurie Clemente will continue to serve as titleholder manager to the current Vermont titleholders.
“This is an exciting time for all of us at Pageant Associates,” said Randy Sanders, who was named State Director of the new pageant additions. “We have always strived to produce well-organized and exciting events for our contestants. We have been producing state pageants for the Miss Universe Organization since the 1997 pageant season and have been responsible for some of the largest, most successful state events in the organization's history.”
Randy Sanders also serves as the State Director for the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA state pageants in Indiana, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, all of which are produced by his company. He confirmed that Pageant Associates will also be producing the Connecticut pageants this fall.
The 2011 Miss Vermont USA and Miss Vermont Teen USA Pageants are scheduled for November 6 & 7, 2010 at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel & Conference Center.
The current Miss Vermont USA, Nydelis Ortiz, competed in the 2010 MISS USA Pageant, which aired on NBC, Sunday, May 16th from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas at the Theatre for the Performing Arts.
The 2010 Miss Teen USA® Pageant will be webcast live on July 24, 2010, from the luxury resort in The Bahamas on www.missteenusa.com and www.seventeen.com. This competition will feature the current Miss Vermont Teen USA, Shelby Gregoire.
